Downtown Fit Walking Program

"Downtown Fit" is a program designed to give the community a connection to healthy exercise, local shopping, and fresh food! Walk a short loop up one side and down the other of East Elk Ave in Downtown Elizabethton and earn $2.00 per person to spend on produce, meat, and eggs at the farmers market! Everyone of all ages and abilities can participate!

Time:  4:00pm - 7:00pm

How it works:
1) Stop by the Info Booth to sign in for the event.
2) Walk a loop up one side of the downtown storefronts, and back down the other, at your leisure. Once you reach the halfway point, you will receive a ticket voucher for $2.00 from a market volunteer. ($2.00 PER PERSON in your family, including kids!)
3) Return to the market, and exchange your tickets with any vendor of your choice for produce, meat, or eggs!
4) Invite your friends!

Make sure you bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated! Free water will be available at Riverside Taphouse. Wear comfortable shoes, and enjoy your time of exercise and downtown shopping. See you there!
