Penny Mitchell was born in Colorado Springs and grew up in Canon City. She met her husband in college at the campus radio station and their first date was a media banquet. Three months later they were engaged! Penny loves to read, travel, and has hiked four of Colorado's 14,000 foot mountains. Penny loves all kinds of music and thinks radio is absolutely magical.
